"I design scenographies for people's lives.·."

For over half a decade, I was part of the team of the prestigious interior designer Jaime Beriestain, where I had the opportunity to design national and international projects such as the Hyatt Regency or the Hotel Palace, experiences that educated me in the art of sophistication.·.

Graduated from the Catholic University of Córdoba (Argentina) in 2001, I am an architect and interior designer based in Barcelona. Yet, I am also a multifaceted artist. My creative journey is heavily influenced by the Renaissance spirit, and I am constantly inspired by the profound connection between classical art and modern design.·.

What does designing mean to you?

Designing, for me, is about capturing the essence of an individual, a chef, a brand, and reflecting their perception of the world, their values, or their brand positioning. My approach lies in a commitment to authenticity and individuality, thus avoiding the monotony of following a generic style. As an interior designer, I like to understand my clients, the plots of their lives, and explore their aspirations. Each project I undertake is a unique opportunity to materialize others' dreams, creating a personal refuge, a manifestation of a lifestyle, or an ambition. The essence of each space becomes a reflection of their desires, so that the environment is a genuine extension that portrays them.·.

What role do trends play in your work?

In my universe, trends are a valuable source of inspiration that I embrace but always with a critical eye, adapting them to their context and applying my own creative filter. For example, in the restaurant, hotel, and bar industry, where one seeks to echo the present time and captivate the public, I enjoy continually exploring new ideas, materials, and innovations. Ultimately, what I seek is to design scenographies for people's lives or to connect with the spirit of the moment.·.

What excites you the most when working on a space?

I am fascinated by working with the purity of materials, exploring textures, and digging into what the substance wants to be and its own qualities. I believe that the nature and harmony of a space reside in the interaction between material and light. That fusion and the search for balance are essential not only in aesthetic matters but also to create different moods and generate atmospheres that can influence the perception and experience of those who interact with the space. From the serenity emanating from a subtle combination to the vibrant energy arising from bold contrasts, the palette of emotions that can be created through this fusion is vast and rich. Ultimately, each project becomes a journey towards understanding the relationship between humans, nature, and the built environment. In every discovered texture, in every play of light and shadow, a story unfolds, inviting observers to immerse themselves in a sensory experience that goes beyond the visual and delves into the essence of life.·.
